    Re: coolant leak

If it is leaking from the hole in the bearing support you need to change the pump.
The hole is a tell tail for the pump seal to identify that it is leaking.
If the seal is leaking it is also...

    Re: Power sockets

There is a tiny fuse wire built in to each power socket.
You have more than likely blown them.
They are not designed to be replaced.
You will need two new sockets.
  4. Re: Minimum RPM's to get an alternator charging?

Alternator RPM is about 2.5 to 3 times engine RPM.

    Re: EF Falcon stopped

Most common to stop an EF is the crank angle sensor.
Located on the timing case low down pointing at the harmonic balancer.
When failed you get no spark and no injection cycle.
  10. Re: fg 6 speed over 100 klm transmission drops back to 4th

There is currently a recall for SOME 6 speeds in Falcon and Territory.

Re: Base Timing (tuning) on Ford Falcon ED

Setting the timing is not the same for EA,EB,ED,EL in all cases.
There are variations for 3.2L 3.9L 4.0L and 5.0L engines.
    I will take a guess ? 4.0 ED.
Find the diagnostic connector as pictured...

    Re: 2003 BA idling problems

Check the engine mounts they are hydraulic and collapse causing vibration.
  15. Re: Bosch BXF 1238A Alternator fitment information required

Yes the mount is the same.
The stator thickness is different but has no effect on the mounting.
It may have a different regulator that requires a voltage sense wire from the BATTERY
    No big deal...

It will be a VH40 or VH44 remote booster.
    Just needs a rebuild probably.
Just check the master cylinder and pedal push rod first.

Get the one for a 4.1 crossflow engine.
  25. Re: AU 11 Camshaft sprocket and crankshaft pulley timing marks.

    The cam does not rock.
The valves will rock on the opposite cylinder.
In your instance number 6 cylinder valves should be in the float or rock position (one valve closing and the other opening)...
