Re: What oil for Fiesta LX (Mk6)?

To be honest, there's little in the difference.

I'd go for the 5W-40 as it covers the widest condition variation which given you're based in Sydney will cover the predominant temperature range. If...

Re: How to remove and dismantle a FG ICC unit.

    It'll be an anti-theft code.

You should be able to take the car to the dealer and get the code.

They wont give it over the phone (typically) as they need to "sight it in the car" (theft...

Re: New Falcon is out and about

Saw a mule running the other day on the Geelong Road around dusk.

No doubt the headlights have been "revealed" so as to be able to run the mules at night as they need lights and it was the only...

whilst true to an extent, my experience was across a wide range of Ford dealers, in more than one state. With the exception of one salesperson (who happened to be a member here), the whole experience...

Re: Falcon replacement for V8 Supercars ?

I fully expect the Mustang to be approved by V8SC "subject to meeting parity measurements".

    Re: Sunroof in ST

I think you'd have to be pretty desperate for a sunroof to have an aftermarket one put in your new ST.

It's listed as an option in the UK brochure. Who knows if that comes down the production line...

Agree with PD56 - you only need to disconnect the battery for 20+ mins. Then reconnect and it learns as you drive.

Re: Buying an LTD - NL or BF - advice please!

In either case i'd be going for the one that is in best condition mechanically. That's usually the newer one though.....

The G6E has wider tyres also, which may be a factor in noise, rolling resistance. The 6 steering/suspension has to compensate for the extra weight over the front axle. Hire cars tyres are often not...

    Re: Performance Parts in Australia?

    Re: Focus RS

    Welcome to thr forum.

Not sure of any RS owners on here.

Usual advice for something like this:

    1. Try another dealer (sadly).
    2. Find someone else's to prove that "they don't all do that"....
