FG XR6 Owners Manual

Hi , i have just purchased an ford falcon fg xr6 2008. Unfortunately there was not an owners manual in the vehicle when purchased. Can anybody advise me as to where i may be able to obtain one. I have spent some time on the internet trying to find where i could get one without success. Thanks

Congratulations on your purchase. Welcome to the Family Of Respectable Drivers.

Did you buy from a Ford dealer? Ask them for it. Is there a service book with it? The owner's manual and service book are two separate books. You likely have a year or more of factory warranty left yet.

If you purchased from a used car yard ... best of luck. That is something I had aways looked for when I was buying from a yard. I often believed that there was a suspicious reason for the books being missing.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the vehicle from a reputable Ford/Kia , new/second hand dealer. The service book was in the car but not the owners manual. Contacted the salesman and he is trying to get me a copy so that is good. Every thing looks OK. Probably the original owner lost it or it was stolen . Love the XR6. Test drove the holden SV but not just the same as the Ford. Although i have always been a ford man. Previously bought new a 67 Cortina, XLE Cortina an EA and then EB Falcon. This is the first second hand vehicle i have bought. Happy so far. Blocka

Good on ya Blocka. Good to see the service book is with the car. Lets hope the dealer finds the owners manual. No contest hey ... Holden not in the same league.

I thought i didnt have one either so i rang a dealership and asked to buy one...$130.00 lucky i found it under the front seat.
