congratulations. A great car, fantastic power-to-weight.
Pure car, no ABS/traction control/ electronic interference Nerd's car? you gotta be kidding. Real car, more like it. Enjoy! (or upgrade to a twin-cam. Lotus for the purists but expensive rebuild. Toyota for the pragmatist.)

my next long term project is going to be building one of these its crazy tho too pass emissions you have to use a newish engine so rather than a oldschool carby 4cyl pushing 50kw if that you have to run a brand spanker pushing 100+kw LOL
www.ozclubbies.com some awesome builds there also there was a guy over on ford6 forum in the usa putting a 250xflow into one a few years back stuffed if i can find anything about it now tho |

quick. A very nice piece of kit. Jpod the problem with putting a I6 would be weight balance may be upset. You probably have to design a bigger chassis to accomodate. Id probably work a 4 cylinder with a small turbo but its light weight is plenty of help anyway- only 590kg..wow.

i like clubmans, my boss owns the australian arm of Westfield Sportscars.
www.westfield-sportscars.com.au The yellow car, which i worked on during my yr10 work experience, has a turbo sr20, and is described as scary fast. A customers car had a Huyabusa motorbike engine, and one of the cars being built now has a 270hp duratec. I couldnt see the point of trying to fit a falcon motor to a clubman, much like elfin putting Gen3's in their cars. Good in a straight line, no cornering ability. I want to build a clubman one day, gotta start saving! Kyle

gen3 are lighter then a turbo sr20? should handle just nicely
prob find they made it not handle to make them harder to write off.
