Default BF XT auto lights.

A mate has recently purchased a BF XT and is having trouble with the auto headlamps. I had a quick look in the book and couldn't find anything.
How does one turn the follow-me-home lights off? He's paranoid that it won't go off and drain the battery.

Thanks in advance.

If he reads his manual. The headlights turn off after two minutes if a door isn't opened and 20 seconds if a door is opened. Other than that he will have to turn the headlights off manually @ the switch if it posses an issue.

I use the auto setting all the time
