if he has the hunger he will have a good season.
i think he feels he left on unfinshed bussiness. mercedes need a very good development driver as they ahd lost all the edge by the seasons end. schumacher can deliver that like no one else that is living and able to drive competively.and there have only been 3 mabey 4 that could do that in f1.

He should be ok if they produce another decent car. Not surprising to see a one year contract - if the car is rubbish, he can walk back to Ferrari (in fact, he can go there anyway if Ferrari are unhappy with Massa or Alonso).

Isn’t he still on contract with Ferrari to do development, more for their road cars than F1. I read somewhere that they were happy with him joining Mercedes and that he is still working with Ferrari.

the ok. He is one brave barstad and Im sure in Mercedes he could do a even better job than Ferrari. Prost came out retirement and he wants just one more title. All the best for him. Quote- Michael has had a serious accident. He did a test here at Fiorano and has not gone well. I remember he called me and told me he hurt his neck. ‘In some corners have vision problems.’ Then he went to do examinations and they told him that there were still some things out of place. After five months things have gone right. http://www.formula1blog.com/2009/12/...-than-thought/ If he has a eye injury like in aeronautics you pull the G's your sight could be screwed....or is just a bit or a media beatup? I suppose Lauda was badly burned and in considerable pain but he soldiered on to return back to F1. If he thinks he can do it as they say its amazing what you can do when you put your energies toward your goal. Go Schuey!
