Red face What does the 'MKll' mean in Ford Kuga MKll Titanium

Can you tell me what the initials MKll mean in the name Ford Kuga MKll Titanium.
First up, what does MK stand for.
Also, does the ll mean 2. I'm confused because the ll are two lower case L's.

I hadda gander at heaps of Ford web pages but found no answers to this.

eeeeeeerz cheeeeeerz for your help..........from Frosty

It means Mark 2. It means that it is the second series in a model and will distinguish upgrades made during a model run. It is the same as saying Series 2. They are not lower case Ls they are Is as in the Roman Numeral i symbolising 1

Why dya reckon Ford didn't use ones (1) if that's what it is supposed to mean. I'm still not getting it........must be old age,,,,,,,,,or sumfink wurs!

In about a week I'm gunna choose between buying the Kuga Titanium or a Koleos Intens,,,,,,,,,,,,or getting treatment for becoming a crusty old git,

They probably thought that people would think Mk11 stood for "mark eleven" rather than "mark two". They seem to cope with R on a gearlever meaning Reverse rather than race!

Anyone getting nervous after the reported Kuga fires in South Africa. The Aussie ones come from the same factory in Spain.
