Smile After market headlight/tail lights for 2002 focus

    Hi All,
Just starting a project to update my 2002 focus and I've been trying to find an australian source for after market headlight/tail lights (preferably in Melbourne). There are heaps in UK/US but shipping is not cheap. Does anyone know of any retail or online suppliers that sell them here. Are there any issues with UK/US model fitting/ Australian Road worthyness.

Link to the type of lights I'm after.

    Any help most appreciated

    Cheers
    Eddie

Hey Eddie, They look okay but I wouldn't go for smoked tail lights.
Just see too many cars on the road now where you can't see the tail or stop lights.
I reckon they will outlaw them soon - like they have done with having fog lights on when not needed.
If someone backends you, you might not have a strong case for a claim.
(I think if you want to hide the tail lights and "blend" the style, high power leds are the way to go. - Can't be seen when off.)
Also against reduced wattage in tail and stop lights.
    Just my views.
(What would I know I drive a Lada and live in a fibro house.)

    Eddie,
Have you thought about the film?
It can look good if properly applied, and its durable and stretchy self adhesive.
Personally I would also put higher wattage/halo bulbs in to compensate.
They say in the US its for "show car and off-road use only", so they cover themselves there. They say its "20%" film - is that 20% through or 20% stopped I wonder. LOL
Anyway, it looks good and is a far cheaper option esp if you are selling, for example.
Precut from the US might not fit exactly - not sure on that.
    Cheers.

If you don't mind waiting, send me a pm...my woek imports cosworths and parts (we are an RS specialist) so you could but some uk lights and have them sent to our container and we then send them onto you once the container arrives. Will take a while and you would have to pay the import tax + a small fee off us but will be a dam sight cheaper than shipping them on their own to you....just thought I'd give you the option

    Hi all,

Thankyou for your replys, and to Fonfe for your offer. I've decided to go with the non smoked front angel projector lights and similar rears, they're right for the cars styling and gives it a fresh look that I'm after. After hours of online searching and emailing I've sourced them from the US and they did $25!!! shipping for each set!!!!. I'll post a pic as soon as I get them installed.

    Cheers
