    Default DSC in WT Fiesta.

Does anyone know if the DSC in a new WT Fiesta can be switched off? There is no button for it and no option in the menu. I see that the new Focus can have the DSC turned off by going through the menu settings but no such offering on the Fiesta.

Only part on DSC in the manual shows how it works. Nothing about switching it on or off. Only reason I ask is if you get the car bogged in some wet grass on the side of the road or something similar, not being able to turn the DSC off can be a problem in that instance.

    Mick,

I'm not 100% sure, but when you're starting her up try holding the ignition key at the "start" point for a few seconds longer than usual. If you keep an eye on the console lights around the speedo (somewhere near the 140 iirc), you'll notice one of them (looks like a starfish) will flash from either orange to red or red to orange. NFI what this is exactly but she will certainly drive differently after this.

edit: lol nm the light I was thinking of is some kinda friggin temperature indicator, don't remember where I read/heard about the ignition thing but I seem to recall it being legit, my own experience is possibly just a placebo though. don't mind me.
