1987/88 street burnouts home video, Perth - Ravenswood. I'm only at the 5min mark but will see I can find any Cortina's and edit the post:

That's a very nice 72 TC 4cyl wagon Copper Bronze that's currently [at the time of typing this] for sale on ebay in Keilor Park Melb. I wouldn't be surprised if Bill66's son is after this one, he's got a fine taste in classic cars just like his dad.

Nice, a pre 6cyl flat firewall close as you'll get to the UK English Mk3's

The seller placed a Youtube video link, should be a good watch:

Had to paste this link here though still looking for any Cortina's in this film. Oz 1976 filmed here in Melb, viewing a scene shot at the Wallan Cafe [ 21:20mins ] with a Sundowner XB GS 250 panel van, in a earlier shot [approx 16:36mins] I could see what looked like a 'Col Paige Ford' sticker on the passenger side tailgate door, though wait until their in the car. Servo scene 26:55mins

At the Shepparton Motor Museum in country Vic there are some Mk1 & 2 Cortina's on display but this link is about a 76 XB Falcon 500 sedan 250ci that's been in storage [they said untouched] since 1987, its worth a look if you can get this link to work, the video should load automatically, starts around the 1:30min mark:

In the near future I'll be going on my first holiday or trip away since 2007, will be stopping off at this musuem and can't wait to see that XB barn find OR shed find rather.

That same guy also has [or had] a limited edition 1 of 500 TE S-Pack, said it's his wife's car - number 313

No Cortina's BUT will place this link here because it'll show similarities to how our local Fords were built-assembled at the time, educational film from 1968 at the Ford River Rouge factory, we'll see the US T-Bird & Falcon being built. I think it was the EA line in 1988 when Broadmeadows moved to increased robotic assembly, whereas before it was mostly done by hand.

A mk1 Cortina features in this early 60's film on how the automotive engine works, at 18:09mins

Another interesting [or depressing] find, an ABC documentary from 1986 about the decline of local car manufacturing be it globalization or government policy though lets NOT debate it, this has some great historical footage:
