so what you're trying to say is it's not 'real life' the band...

they were remarkably famous in Germany you know- still hear them on the radio there now every now and then.

No, the latest Evermore Album - called Real Life.

Doesnt say much about them if they were famous in Germany. David Hasselhoff is also very famous there.....

I should start a new thread!!!

Have just got the new Stonesour record - the musical side project of Corey Taylor from Slipknot.

What an absolute ripper, have only gone through it once but it's so different to the last one, which never really struck a chord with me. It's hard, the vocals, the vocals!!! Corey is awesome: this guy I have always had a lot of respect for, can go screamng and do it well, drop into a rap and do it well (Spit it out), go into melodic choruses (left behind) and back into the fierceness trademarked by the band.

This record proves this guy is a full on singer. It's awesome, it's maybe even nearing the greatness of Sevendust's incredible 'animosity'.

Okay it's only first listen but this one is a real winner. GUGT!

Heard that Paris Hilton song once...that was plenty. And she officially won't be touring her album as, recording label quote, "she is unable to perform the vocals live." When your label puts out a statement admitting you suck...you suck.

And anything by the Crazy Frog author. We Are The $@#$ing Champions?!?

Breaking Benjamin's new album Phobia. From a band that had a really good last album to piss off for 2 years and come back with complete cack is really dissapointing.

Also can't pay anything by that Shakira *****, it's like listening to that news presenter "Peter Harvey, in canberra" - vocals as flat as a ****carters hat, annoying music and garbage lyrics. She makes better video's though, perhaps she should make video's for stonesour...?

But you know that her "hips don't lie", especially about her "breasts being small and humble"

Yes I know the lyrics, but only because I am subjected to her crap albums by the wife who has them on repeat.

Also, her new song has about a million parodies of it on google video and you tube - funny stuff.

Also heard another new one by Justin Timberlake. He sounds like he will have a big ranch, pet monkey and will be molesting minors in about 5 years or so....

Hehehe, I agree with all of those. I'd also like to add that Sandy Thom woman, ugh. I really dislike the Hip Hop, R&B and Rap stuff that is nothing but "I have a bling bling mobile" and "my girlfriend banged another guy" stuff. It's all the same, and to me it just seems like a popularity contest.

I grew up addicted to Public Enemy and all that Rap stuff in the late 80's, and it was awesome, but now you are so right, it's all boring as cat****, music is dull, lyrics are soft, mouthing off about how good they are, none of them have more than one note. And this ass shaking nonsense, it's not sexy, Britney sliding on the ground in the see through outfit in the Toxic video was Sexy, halle Berry in the bathing suit... Not shaking ones ass in and out.

The ones that drive bentleys are Ok of course, good people, but all the others are just rubbish. More power to real musicians, how lucky we are for the Corey Taylors of the world!

and that dog from Black Eyed Peas...

And as for that Timberlake goose... gives hope to millions of other untalented people in the world that you can get on.

    Steve Earle- Mercenary Song

Johnny Cash- Don't Take Your Guns To Town

Carly Simon- Nobody does it better

The Highwaymen- The Devils Right Hand

Johnny Cash- Danny Boy from his last album

slow blues and country for me. not much R&B round these parts.

This is a huge improvement. Corey Takes it up a level and the Music is Great. Some great rock tracks on it but never takes away from Corey's hard core integrity. Awesome record.

I just downloaded The Killers latest album, Sam's Town. Pretty much only because I liked the song "When You Were Young", but I must admit, the whole album is pretty good. It's quite a long album, the majority of the song are over 4mins long. It's slightly monotonous, but not to the point where it's boring. The radio station I listen to described it as a mix of retro and timeless (actually they said that's how NME magazine described it), and I'd agree with that. While their kind of music is not usually my cup of tea, it's an enjoyable album, but I'm glad I didn't buy it.
