Hi Wassa, Sorry for the late response, I only have a K&N air cleaner, apart from the rear muffler removal. The rest of my exhaust is stock except the short Hot Dogs. The 260 XR8s perform much better if you do no give it too much go pedal too soon, as they will die in the arse. I get better results by modulating the accelerator a bit to find the sweet spot, and steadily squeeze harder from around 3500 Rpm when they really come on cam. The stock exhaust is 2.5" from the cats to the centre muffler, then 2.25" on exit. There are a number of different brand exhaust systems - at varying prices - Redback, Defillipo etc, (best to do some research on-line) but you might get some cost-effective improvement by replacing the single centre muffler with twins, and Hot Dogs replacing the Rear - like mine. It also helps to run 39-41 psi in the tyres. Hope this helps Cheers Steve M: 0413 758 878 stevefinesse@yahoo.com.au
Hi Steve wondering what performance exhaust system you used and did it sound and perform how you expected. There are so many on the market its a bit of a mine field when it comes to buying one.Mines dead stock at the moment and unless you really stick the boot in you would hardly know you where driving a v8.Thanks :-)
