Welcome to the imported auto discussion rooms. Whilst we’re a Ford forum, many of us are car enthusiast and share a passion for many different cars irrespective of the badge. This is where these rooms come in.

Has anyone come across the Ford Flex?
I saw one in Alice Springs the other day. I can't say I'm a fan of this look & hope this is not the future of Ford.
The Flex is a box on wheels & appears to have no styling at all.
I wanted to know about hydraulic wipers original engine has an oil pump built onto timing cover crankshaft driven.
This probably has a lot to do with delays in a decision and/or announcements on Holden's future.
Ah well..... I doubt she could do any worse than any of her predecessors of recent times.
Indeed, the simple fact the she has a engineering background and isn't another damned bean counter should be...
Hope there is room for them all I will start James Bond Mach 1.
Here's an interesting video comparing the Camaro, Challenger and Shelby GT500 with their respective predecessors. It goes for 9 mins and in typical American fashion they think the cars handle well, but anyway. :) They certainly sound good!
Mustang sold 70000 in 2011, 83000 in 2012. It managed 48000 for the first half of 2013.
So how does Dearborn justify a platform for only ONE car that sells less than 100,000 a year?
They want everything else to be "global".
The Yanks sale figures will be even lower when the current figures are in, due to the silly games being played in Washington D.C. at the moment.
Of course he'd like to see 5 million more sold, especially if he is the prick that sells them!
I hope he has many more happy recalls!
They are probably doing it here too, but our toothless tiger authorities either can't or wouldn't bother to do anything about it!

It's been a while! Here's the all-new (Dodge) SRT Viper in a few leaked photos. The official launch will be in the next 24hrs I believe.
The Americans seem happy with it but I think it looks terrible. The front is bland, the rear looks ungainly. And then there's that steering wheel...
This is the Lincoln version of the Fusion/Mondeo. It looks unique I suppose. Not beautiful but it's not ugly. This is the first car styled by the Aussie Max Wolff. It comes standard with an EcoBoost 2.0 4cyl with the option of a 3.7L V6 as well as a hybrid. Unfortunately there's no mention of the...

Here's the Chevrolet Tru 140S concept which is based on the Holden Cruze platform. It looks fantastic! You wouldn't know it came from the same people as the standard Cruze.

Here's the new Dodge Dart which appears to be Chrysler new Focus competitor. More details will be revealed over the next few hours but so far I'm certainly not too excited. The exterior is 'meh' at best and the interior looks like it was inspired by an old Doge truck.
The same people that leaked the new Mondeo/Fusion early have done the same with the new Lincoln MKZ concept. The image quality isn't brilliant but you can get a rough idea. It seems that the exterior is fairly wild (more concept than production model) but the interior looks ready for the showroom....
Looks like Chev's version of the Mazda MX-5.
I'm not moved by the Interior, and the C pillar gives me all sorts of Camry feelings, but apart from that I reckon it's a good job.

Chevrolet have just revealed photos of their new Trailblazer concept! It's slightly larger than the Captiva7 and designed for slightly tougher work (is based on the new Colorado's platform)
I think it would be a safe assumption that we'll get it here in Holden form some time in 2013.
In all fairness, Tesla have a very good case.
Good review and an interesting car.
Hi, just wondering has anybody here ever been to the SEMA in Las Vegas. Have seen a few exhibits (photos) being readied for this year, on 'Mustangs Daily', especially one Kenny Brown convertible with the twin turbos mounted either side of the gearbox. I ask this because SEMA is not open to the...

Here's the all-new Holden Epica, which is expected to be sold here as the Malibu.
I believe this is one of GM's new global cars, so essentially the Cruze's bigger brother. And as with the Cruze, I expect it'll be average and probably sell reasonably well.
GM have only revealed two...

In stark contrast with the just-released Cherokee SRT8, this car looks rather sedate. Still, should be fast and fun to drive (although we discussed in another thread, these cars are pushing the limits of a car with only two driving wheels.)
It's just been launched so this is the ony photo I can find. Not the best looker, but a very cool car!
Here's the all-new (I think) Dodge Charger. RWD and AWD, 5.7L HEMI V8 or 3.6 V6.
i spotted a ford left hand drive ute the other day it was blue with ford written on the tail gate it was my guess is a 351 with both exhaust pipes working it reminded me of and old valiant any ideas or am I right and it is a valiant?????? would love to know because it was nice
Chevrolet have just revealed details of the new Camaro ZL1 which comes with a blown LSA 6.2L V8 producing roughly 550hp and 745Nm!
340kW and 640NM (I think - rusty conversion technique) from the new 6.4L V8 (up from 6.1).
I'm sure it's probably not that good, but must be fun with that much power! At last American Muscle cars have returned (and they're partially competitive with the M5, E63 and RS6s...etc)
should make buying a rusty challenger less of a, err, challenge
I haven't seen it yet but apparently it's the best so far. You can get it from here:
