Simple question..........

Look at the attached EA Turn & Warning Lights wiring diagram. At the bottom is a connector labeled "COLUMN SWITCH". DOes this picture show us looking at the connector on the wiring loom OR the connector attached to the column switch assembly?

Will that same perspective hold true for all connectors shown in such diagrams?

Hi if you go back to the forum where the page came from and look at the first page in the series it should tell you but also if you look at the numbers they are also on the schematic then follow the wires along and there is a color/and trace, just match up the colors and your sweet. Cheers MD

cannot find such information fox.

unfortunately none of the Ford wiring diagrams show the colour of wire from components to connectors. They only show the colour from the connector into the loom (as you outlined above with colurs and numbers). The wiper motor wires are a totally different colour to those in the loom. :(

Ok, seeing as this diagram has battery horns and fuses you are looking at the wiring that goes under the bonnet and the dash; ergo the connector will be the end that runs into the underdash wiring and not the actual switch and connector wiring.
