Does anyone know whether electronic copies of the service /repair manuals are available on the net. Thanks

No idea, but they can be brought at a very reasonable cost. You then have the added advantage of being able to refer to them when you are nowhere near a computer :)

Thanks for the help. Just thought there might be an electronic copy that I can use to identify a part number for trim that I want to replace.

OH I see. Why not tell us what the part is and maybe someone here can get the part number for you?

Try here, www.pitstop.net.au
They run a mail order business and list all the books, the genuine Ford manuals are the way to go, they probably have them for the AU.
I got a three volume set for the Fairlane from them, they can supply anything that's available in workshop manuals.
