For E series' falcon owners, repco just sent mechanic shops a catalogue with a Bosch Distributor & module for $99.00. If you goto repco they will sell them for $288.00.
I got my mechanic to get me 1 for $99.

If your mechanic got it for that much, it would have been even cheaper before he put his bit on top, I always source prices for myself, and if cheaper, buy them and if i cant put it in myself, give it to someone who can.

I paid $250 for the alternator on my EB XR8 to be reconditioned.

Ring Ford up and ask them the cost of a newby. I fell of my chair when they told me the price.

$1050 for a brand new item.
