On my EL, the brake light bulbs are lucky if they last a few months. What makes it even worse, is the GLi's lack of any interior warning light, saying that your brake lights arent working. We found the car today with none of the brake lights working, except for the one in the rear windscreen.
I dont remember a car we have had, where the lamps burn-out so quickly. Admittedly, we get the bulbs from a place like K-mart or Big W, but surely they should last longer.
Does anyone have the same problem, or any ideas. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my Headlights. They are on a EBII GLi wagon and they only last 2 months at the most. They blow at seperate times (normally the right followed by the left a few weeks latter, then its all repeated again) so I know how ****ty you can get by replacing them all the time. It does not matter what wattage I put in it, it always blows. Next time I am lashing out and buying a set of more $$$ bulbs.

Many Thanks
