Can anyone advise how best to clean out the coolant reserve tank in an EF Falcon?
The unit I have has brown rusty water stains which makes it difficult to see out of for checking water level etc.
I read somehere that you can use a household cleaner like bicarb of soda or something like that.
Can anyone help here? I note that a lot of used cars in used car yards often have extremely clean tanks.
Thanks,
Ron

Try a cleaner with a handfull of very small stones and some water and shake it all about for a while. Dont forget to get the stones out after though!

If its that bad, you will never get it looking good, just buy another one,if your cleaning isnt succesful.
